Me & my husband have very different characters but our love for each other & traveling is what brought us even more close together. The thing is the places we both love most to visit are national parks or historical sites and this time we had 2 in 1 at the Park and National Palace of Pena in Sintra, Portugal - so you can imagine our excitement !
A historical site with these gorgeous buildings & all that green & breath-taking views in the Pena park - all together made it to a perfect location & awesome day to spend together and explore this special place!

The Palace of Pena was designated a National Monument in 1910 and forms part of the Cultural Landscape of Sintra, which has been classified by UNESCO as World Heritage since 1995. In 2013, the Palace was integrated into the Network of European Royal Residences.
